Jolene Rollins Wimberly, 82, of Greenville, passed away on August 31, 2024.
Born in Inman, Jolene was a daughter of the late Daniel and DeViolet Rollins. She graduated from Chapman High School and was a successful realtor in the Greenville area for many years. In addition to her parents, Jolene was predeceased by a sister, Paulette Peyer (Peter).
Jolene is survived by her husband of 34 years, Wiley C. Wimberly, Sr.; a sister, Sylvia Caldwell (Bob) of Spartanburg; son Mark Settle of Greenville; step-daughter Debbie Thomas (Jamey) of Fishers, IN; step-son Wiley C. Wimberly, Jr. (Ali) of Brevard, NC; grandchildren Wiley C. Wimberly III (Alex), Sarah Thomas O’Connor (Carr), Clayton Thomas, and Haley Thomas; great-granddaughter Aubree Wilkinson; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Jolene’s life will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 7 in the Greenville First Baptist Church Chapel. The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
