Jon Bean

Jonathan Todd Bean, of Winchester, passed this life on Monday, November 3rd, 2025 at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital at the age of 40. Jon was born in Winchester to the late James Eric Bean and Becky Bean who survives. During his life, he worked as a carpenter for Elite Building. He also enjoyed raising roosters and was the owner of Bean's Game Farm. Jon is survived by his mother, Becky Bean (Gary Chain); one son, James Andrew Bean; other children, Andrew and Logan Neal; fiancé, Kaitlyn Bailey; one sister, April Bean Burt (Clay); grandmother, Elna Howard; step-brother, Brandon Chain (Sara); step-sister, Amanda Chain; aunts and uncles Sheila and Doyle Wiseman, Tony and Felicia Bean, Penny Hutchison, Barbie Dodd, Sylvia Smith, and Gloria Smith; and too many nieces, nephews, and cousins to name, that Jon loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025 at Kilgore Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00pm. Funeral services will take place Thursday, November 6th, 2025 at 1:00pm. Burial will follow at Awalt Cemetery in Estill Springs. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to Kilgore Funeral Home to go towards funeral expenses.
