Jon was a mate of my partner when they was in school.such a sad loss of a lovely guy and an amazing drummer. R.I.P .Love to his family. hope he has a brilliant send off tomorrow.xx

I knew jon from junior school, and jon did'nt change his attitude towards anyone even though he was the drummer in a massive band. Always had time for a beer, very polite a true wednesbury lad. Gonna miss you pal.RIP mate.

Hey Jon you will be missed forever, all heartbroken down here on the south coast! We were lucky enough to meet you on a few occasions and have a cheeky drink which is something that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Jon Brookes a true gentlmen and a true Charlatan!! R.I.P
