I knew Jon for a too brief period, way back in the mid 1960's when he (and I) were living in the Mansfield-Lexington Ohio area. My brother Ron and I used to pal around with Jon quite a bit as we lived in adjoining neighborhoods.

I remember Jon having a large book collection in his basement bedroom that he would occasionally refer to - I was always impressed! We had a lot of good times and then one day he moved away. Anyway, Jon was an unfailingly nice kid and mature beyond his years. I only wish that he would have stayed in the area longer. Jon lives on in my memory! Jim Schaub.
