A Special Memory of Jon

I have so many great memories of getting my hair cut by Jon, but one stands out above the rest. I´ll never forget the day my mom brought me in with a huge chunk of hair missing. At the time, I insisted to everyone that I had 'no idea' how it happened!

Jon didn´t scold me or call me out. Instead, he looked at me and told me to go home and tell those 'little munchkins' living in my attic that they were not allowed to cut my hair again because I didn't want it any shorter.

His kindness and humor worked-I never 'let the munchkins' cut my hair like that again! While I´ve learned to trim my own hair over the years, I always truly preferred the seat in Jon´s shop. He was a wonderful man who knew exactly how to talk to a kid. He will be greatly missed.
