Jon Roger Duffett

"A Beautiful Soul" Jon "Roger" Duffett passed away on September 11, 2012 at the age of 72. Born in Huntington Hospital on January 26, 1940 to Jack and Edith Duffett. A graduate of Northport High School class of 1958. After high school Roger attended Centre College in Danville, Ky where he played college baseball for the Colonels. Roger began his first career as a letter carrier for the US Postal Service in East Northport, NY from the 60's to the early 80's. In 1985 he moved to St. Petersburg Florida and established himself in the local community. He retired after working for Raymond James Associates (Eagle Assets) for 15 years. A dedicated and loving father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He is survived by his son Jon R. Duffett jr. (Babylon, NY), daughter Patricia Adams (Bayshore, NY), brother Garry Duffett (Las Vegas, Nv), granddaughter Allyssa Adams, grandson Frederick Duffett. May god rest your beautiful soul.
