Jon Tribble was an angel here on earth, a great poet, writer, editor, mentor of fellow poets like me, a selfless man who worked so hard you could tell that he knew he was not here with us too long, a great husband to our dear Allison, just one one of the greatest human beings who ever lived among us. His passing has left a void in all of our hearts, and a month later, some of us who are only friends are still weeping for his passing. It is difficult to imagine our literary family moving on without Jon, and our hearts are so grieved. Jon changed our lives, changed my literary life; Jon and Allison were instrumental in everything I am today as a poet. To Allison, I say, stay strong. You were everything to Jon and he was to to you. He will love for you to keep working hard, keep being happy, keep cherishing the great times you shared when he was alive, and continue to make him proud. We loved both of you, and we still do love you, Allison. May Jon's soul find rest and peace even as in the higher world, he continues to be a blessing to those he meets on the other side. We will miss you much, friend and brother.
