Jonathan Arthur Dieker

Jonathan A. Dieker, 50, of Lakeview, OH formerly of Indianapolis, IN, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, July 12, 2024, at his home.
Jonathan was born on September 27, 1973, in Dayton, OH, a son of the late John A. and Sueann Schaffer Dieker. He was also preceded in death by a son, John A. Dieker III, and sister, Kimberly Sue Dieker.
Jonathan married Suzanne Nitchman on May 10, 2003, and she survives. He is also survived by two sons, Christian Dieker of Port Angeles, WA and Alex Dieker of Indianapolis, Two siblings, Jeff Dieker and Susan Tackett, both of Lakeview, a nephew, Skyler Tackett, a niece, Emma Tackett, two brothers-in-law, Gene Tackett and Jay Nitchman, and father/mother-in-law, Jim and Joyce Nitchman.
Jonathan attended Beavercreek High School in Dayton. He worked at AutoZone in Indianapolis for 17 years, and then went to work for DollarTree, most recently at Northside Indian Lake. Jonathan was the consummate practical joker. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, playing video games, watching wrestling, and was a Tennessee Titans fan. He loved spending his time with his family, especially his children.
A gathering of family and friends will begin at 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 21, 2024 at Indian Lake Blackhawk Shelter House.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Jonathan's honor to his family c/o Shoffstall Funeral Home.
