Jonathan E. Elam

Jonathan E. Elam, 36, of 875 Black Sulpher Rd., Salt Lick, KY, passed away Saturday June 29, 2013 in Rowan County from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. Born September 16, 1976 at Morehead, KY, he was the son of Frank and Kaye Clark Elam of Salt Lick. He was a construction worker and attended the Mudlick First Church Of God. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Carmen Johnson Elam, a daughter, Savannah Grace Elam, 1 brother, Scottie Elam and his wife Lyndsay of Olympia, KY, paternal grandmother, Beatrice Elam and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday July 3, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Mudlick First Church Of God with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in the Elam Family Cemetery at Salt Lick. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Tuesday July 2, 2013 at the Mudlick First Church Of God.
