Jonathan Owen Hayenga , 36

Jonathan Owen Hayenga, 36, loving son, grandson, brother, and uncle, passed away unexpectedly December 20th. Jon was born in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho to Gary and Tracy on October 23, 1987.



Jon graduated from Coeur d'Alene High School in 2006 and went on to earn his degree in graphic design at North Idaho College. Jon always surrounded himself with the things he loved most - Fantasy Football, sports cards, family and friends. Jon was always quick witted and full of smart, funny quips. He was so creative and was excited about starting his new business with his second family, all his friends from the card shop.



Jon is survived by his father Gary Hayenga and wife Kathy, his brother Tony, his sister Cassandra Schneider and husband Justin and daughter Annabelle, his sister Alisha Simonsen and husband Tony, and children Tyler and Megan, stepsister Ashley Jessen and husband Clint, and children Collin, Cameron and Caitlin, stepsister Sara Keough and husband Bryan, and children Owen, Thomas and Quinn, his Grandparents Don and Bev Reinhardt and Grandma Kay Holman, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Jon was preceded in death by his mother, Tracy, and grandparents, Gary and Micki Hayenga.



A celebration of life will be held at Bell Tower Funeral Home in Post Falls on January 6, 2024 at 12 PM. A stubbornly good person taken from the Earth too soon. Heaven gets a new angel.
