Jonathan Scott Knowles, born September 20, 2005 to Anthony Ryan and JoAnn Reene Knowles passed away on October 19, 2021.
Johnny was a bright and loved student at the Utah Military Academy where he enjoyed his teachers and fellow cadets daily. He also was a member of UMA's Debate team where he won 3rd place in a competition in September of this year and was able to obtain his letterman jacket.
Johnny was also an avid member of The Church of Latter-day Saints and was able to touch the lives of so many at the Birch Creek Ward, the Lincoln Ward, and the Homestake Ward. He loved being part of the Boy Scouts at the Lincoln Ward and Homestake Ward, and also being part of Young Mens at all three wards. Johnny was a smile, he was happiness, and he was a light. His light was like that of a Supernova, his light burned brighter than even that of the sun and now remains in our memories forever.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. and 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary.
Johnny is such a bright and colorful light, and because of this the family requests that only the brightest colors be worn, no black please. If you are a Superhero or Superhuman, please wear your very best and very brightest costume.
We would like to thank all that have helped with Johnny throughout the years. Lindquist, as well as all others who loved and helped make Johnny's life that much better and brighter.
