He was born in Logan, West Virginia on November 18, 1992 to Edward Lester and Betty Carter Pomaroy. Jonathan worked as an HVAC repairman, then spent time working on cars or cut his grass in his spare time. He was a true family man; he cherished every moment spent with his wife and daughters. Jonathan would often watch movies or play video games with his family and looked forward to taking them on vacations in Florida.
Jonathan is survived by his wife of 16 years, Tricia Lester; two daughters, Jennifer and Taylor Lester; his mother, Betty Pomeroy; one sister, Elizabeth Lester; one brother, Zack Messer; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Lisa and Mike Steele; and his sister-in-law, Brookelyn Lynn (Tyler).
He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lee Lester and step-father, Bobby Messer.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home.
The visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Friday, September 5, 2025 at Collier Funeral Home.
