Jon was my son-in-law but after I saw the way he loved & treated my daughters Lisa, in in-law dropped off and he became my son as well. R.I.P. Jon, I love you! ❤

I always wanted a big sister, but God knew I needed you. A big brother, a protector, someone that would see me through. During some of our last conversations, you said you were so proud of me...
Little do you know those are the values you instilled in me.

Rides in the red Toyota Celica with no heat; trips to New York, and blankets all over me.
You popping up at my school, when I got a D, Im glad Lisa was there to keep you from beating me.
Staying up late at night, because I couldnt get my homework right.......these are some of the memories Ill have to cherish for the rest of my life.

A son, a brother, a husband, a father, and a world wide friend..........you touched so many lives in your short lifespan.
Our family has been through so many ups and downs
No matter the reason or circumstances, you held it down.
As our family goes through this trial and tribulation; enduring the pain, for the first time in my life I dont have your phone to ring.

Celebrating your 50th. Clowning at our youngest brothers wedding. Having drinks and celebrating are moments we will never get.

As I penned this open letter I laughed and I cried.
When you said you wanted to get all of us together, this is not what I had in mind.
I havent felt THIS type of pain since 1993,
49 years just wasnt enough time for me

While I shared laughs with Chico Bean
You enjoyed your final bike ride, relaxed, clear mind, transitioned, and received your wings
Its so hard not to question Gods Plan; John 14:27, we leave him in your hands.

I have memories of Jon Jon as a baby and as a little one... I was 12 years old back then, helping out his mom at my grandmother's house (Momma- Carnell's mom).....Over the years, I would occasionally see him at family gathering as he grew into adulthood, a man. When he smiled you couldn't help but smile back and his easy going personality would have you immediately liking him. I remember Jon Jon "educating" me on what it was like to live in Alaska (Lolol)...a place he was stationed at during his military service years. I know there are many cherished memories of the family who were close to him, as well those family members who saw him from time to time... Jon Jon affected not just family, but everyone that way.... Sorry that you have gone.
