I only knew of Jonathan from Steve Hartman´s segment on him in 2019. The story just came up in my FB memories, and I googled him to see how he was doing. My heart breaks to see that he passed away. I hope he´s been reunited with his beloved grandmother. May his memory be a blessing. RIP, Jonathan.

Jonathan was the brightest, kindest soul. The drive thru at Chicken Salad Chick was so much fun and he uplifted my day each time. Being a stranger to him, yet he treated me like his best friend. They don´t make them like that anymore. My heart goes out to his family with his earthly departure, but rejoices in him gaining his heavenly reward. God speed until we see you again!

I´ll always think of Jonathan whenever I go to bojangles... he was always so cheerful and inspiring in spite of his health issues! I also know that he loves God and is resting in peace with Jesus... the world needs more people like him.

Jonathan would always greet me with a big smile across his face. Even though I was a stranger he met me with kindness and respect every single time I interacted with him. It truly saddens me to see such a wonderful man's life cut short. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jonathan's family and friends, Even though you do not know me, I mourn, with you today.

I met Jonathan when he worked at Bojangles. A group of us men would meet there on Saturdays and Jonathan was consistent with his big smile and joyfulness that filled the entire dining area. We all looked forward to being there and seeing Jonathan. We missed him so much when he went to work somewhere else. There is a part of Jonathan that will continue to live on through each of us men! Thank you for all your joy and encouragement my brother! We look forward to seeing you again. We love you Jonathan.
