Ive thought about you everyday sense i heard the news..i just cant wrap my head around any of this..it seems like just yesterday we were playen in the neighborhood..where has the time gone..we cant turn back time we cant go back if only we could tho..id give you a big hug forsure..rest easy jon

R.I.P. Jon.

I first met Jonathan in elementary school at Bates Elementary. My family moved out to Oldham County and we lost contact. Years later I became great friends with Becca and met her amazing husband. It wasn't until we were sitting in their bedroom one evening and Jon was changing his shirt that I saw the tattoo across his back! I remember saying " Hey I went to elementary school with a boy named Jonathan Ratliff" He laughed and said "Bates?" We all had a good laugh finally putting it together! Jon and Becca were so good to me. One of my best birthdays was shared with them as they took me to Ruth's Chris. He was truly one of a kind. My prayers to Becca and his family as they mourn the loss of an amazing guy.

I'm so deeply sorry for the Ratliffs loss. Jon was such a great guy and a good friend. So many memories shared together that I will hold close to my heart. Rest easy my friend until we meet again.

Becca...I just heard the news about Jon....We are so sorry and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I am still in shock! Jon was a great guy whom I have known since he was very young. His family have been friends of mine and my heart breaks for them as they go through these difficult times. I am heart broken to hear of your loss. Becca, when I shared this with my children they were also in disbelief. You and John were always so kind to my kids and your friendship meant the world to me. We may not have seen each other often but I knew as did my wife and children that on our next run in it would be like old times.
