Jon was so many things to me . I loved him as a best friend , a confidante and best of all as family. We might not have been related by blood but we were related by love. I was honored to be your friend. Thank you for everything. I love you.

Jon and I bonded over a love of our mutual favorite author, Christopher Moore. So many times over 20+ years I would see him at the Bean Counter coffee shop and one or the other of us would run up and yell "DID YOU SEE THERE'S A NEW BOOK COMING OUT???". Even after I moved away, nearly every time I came through town I would see him there and we would check in on fave, our reading progress, or other cool authors. I was there in March and missed seeing him, and will miss seeing him every time from now on. He always made me laugh. My heart goes out to you all.

Dear Anna, Cari, and Liz: It's impossible to forget childhood friends and memories, especially of the Shers. I spent so much time with your family (including Lady and your one-time horse your dad stabled in the garage) at 43 Monroe and the lake house (where we all learned to play Milles Bornes). Your parents were always very nice to me. Jono and I hung out a lot. We shared an interest in photography--taking and developing photos (he taught me about ASA ratings of film). He pursued so many different interests, moving from one to another, it was hard to keep up. He was always curious about everything. He was a good friend. Please be sure of my prayers for him and your family. Bob Flaherty
