Jonathon Nehila Obituary
Born in New Brunswick, Jonathon was a lifelong resident of Helmetta. For twenty-one years, he attended the Academy Learning Center, a school for people with disabilities, in Monroe Township. Despite his physical disabilities, Jonathon enjoyed life to its fullest. He enjoyed camping, fishing, travelling and aquariums.
Predeceased by his father, Roald Nehila, Jr., Jonathon is survived by his mother, Joanne Nehila; his sister, Jennifer Sawyer, and; his uncles, Albert Nagy and his wife, Rose and Andrew Nagy.
The family would like to offer their thanks to all of Jon's caregivers over the years.
Cremation is private. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Spotswood Funeral Home.

I was blessed to be one of Jonathon's teachers when he was a little guy. He came to school usually happy and eager to get going with what his schedule was for that day. Once he was no longer in my class, I continued to see him around the school and enjoyed talking to him and his mother. My thoughts and prayers go out to his mom and his entire family.

He was so blessed to have such a selfless mother who gave her life to give him the best care humanely possible. Now he is in God's loving care .
