Jordan Phillip Lundquist Bliss, 20, passed away, Thursday, December 12th at his home, due to a seizure. His funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 20th at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Willmar. Visitation will be two hours prior to his service. Burial will be at Bethel Lutheran Cemetery in Willmar. Arrangements are pending with Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home in Willmar, www.hafh.org.
Jordan Phillip Lundquist Bliss was born to Steven Michael and Sheila Marie Lundquist Bliss on August 23, 2004, in Willmar. He was baptized on December 12, 2004, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Willmar. Jordan lived in Spicer from 2004-2005, Grenora, ND from 2005-2008, Buffalo Lake from 2009-2010, Bode, IA from 2010-2015, Wannaska from 2016-2023, and Kerkhoven from 2023 until his passing. He was an active student in these towns. His lifelong battle has been autism with cognitive impairment and seizures. He finished one year of 12th grade in 2024, and chose to do 12th grade again. At age 13 he began photography. He was in 4-H for 10 years and won a grand champion ribbon at the Roseau County Fair for Photo Manipulation in 2024, and a grand champion reserve ribbon in 2023. and many other blue ribbons in previous years for photos and crafts.
Jordan enjoyed Super Why Tv Shows, watching movies on DVD, SpongeBob Square Pants, Jack Hartmann videos, searching youtube, watching movies, being on zoom calls, school teachers, Michael Jordan, playing board games, shooting basketball, photography, swimming, puzzles, bowling, minigolf, fishing, ping pong, foosball, reading and being read to, listening to music, drawing, playing soccer, video games, riding bike, parks, skiing, sledding, ice skating, amusement park rides, airplane rides, traveling, going to church, church youth group, Bible camp, 4-H, being around little kids, and talking with Grandma. He also enjoyed birthday parties with piñatas, calendars, stuffed animals, super heroes, toy cars, T-shirts, pizza, mashed potatoes, turkey, and drinking root beer and anything Mario or Hello Kitty. He was a loving son, brother, grandson, and nephew.
Jordan is survived by his parents: Steve and Sheila Lundquist Bliss; brother, Kyle Bliss of Storden; and grandmother, Rachael Lundquist of Spicer; and grandparents: Dave and Judi Bliss of Grants Pass, OR; along with many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandmas, Betty Valentine and Barbara Buzbee, and grandpa, Scott Lundquist.
