Jordan Mayes Obituary

Jordan Lee Mayes, age 34, of Malvern, died unexpectedly at his home early on Wednesday morning, October 22, 2025.  He was born in Malvern on July 10, 1991, to Anna Rosenblum Mayes and the late Joseph Eugene Mayes.  Reared and educated in Malvern, Jordan loved music, sports, and reading.  He was his mother's caregiver and companion and you rarely saw one without the other.  Jordan was a Baptist by denomination.  He was a big man, somewhat intimidating looking, but he was gentle as a lamb.
He is survived by his mother, Anna Mayes of Malvern; a half-sister, Haley Mayes; a half-brother, Marcus Robinson; cousins, Heather Owens and Brian Bland; an uncle, John Bland; and by many friends.
Jordan was also preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lotus Knickerbocker.
A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
