Jordan Drew Nutt was born on October 23, 1987, in Hot Springs, as the youngest of three children, born to Stacy Nutt and Penny Duren Nutt. Jordan entered his heavenly home on Thursday, March 2, 2023.
Jordan was a loving father to his two beautiful children, Colton and Fallyn Nutt. He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He also enjoyed sports and enjoyed being a referee for basketball games, especially peewee basketball games. His true passion, however, was playing with his children. Colton and Fallyn were the light of his life. Jordan was a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church.
Jordan was preceded in death by his Grandfather and Grandmother, Andy Nutt and Nell Nutt, and his Mamaw, Susie Duren.
Survivors include his children, Colton Nutt and Fallyn Nutt; his parents, Stacy and Penny Nutt; one brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Joanna Nutt; one sister and brother-in-law, Brandy and Bradley Porter; one niece, Kennedy Nutt; one nephew, Hunter Porter; his Papaw and Step-Grandmother, Melvin and Lola Duren; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, March 10, 2023, at Caney Valley Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Shewbart officiating.
Visitation will be held Thursday, March 9, 2023, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, in the Smith Family Funeral Home Chapel in Glenwood, 209 North Third Street, Glenwood, AR 71943.
Interment will be in the Ebenezer Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Zach Powell, Seth Powell, Hayden Powell, Rod Powell, Todd Ray and Mike Duren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Jordan to an account that has been set up at Diamond Bank for Jordan’s children, Colton and Fallyn. Donations may be made to this account at any Diamond Bank location
