Jorge Oscar Francisco Serrano, age 18, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, died Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the INTEGRIS Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born on Thursday, March 8, 2007, to Amber Bounds in Idabel, Oklahoma.

Jorge's life was a story of courage, love, and quiet strength. At the age of 11, he survived being struck by a vehicle, suffering a major brain injury that forever changed his journey. Despite the challenges he faced, Jorge found joy in the things he loved most - playing video games, spending time at the lake, going fishing, and watching scary movies. His greatest happiness came from being with his brother and sisters, who meant the world to him. Though his time here was far too short, passing at the age of 18, Jorge's memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him, a reminder of his resilience, his laughter, and the love he shared with his family.

Jorge is survived by his loving parents, Joel Holt and Amber Bounds of Oklahoma, City, Oklahoma; his brother, Shawnathan Bounds of Millerton, Oklahoma; two sisters, Melissa Serrano of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; and Alaysia Holt of Poteau, Oklahoma; his maternal grandparents, Stanley Bounds and Norma Jones and Brenda Bounds and Jeff Kendrick all of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; two nieces, Malaya Serrano and Ariyah Scott and a host of other family, friends and loved ones.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. at the Bowser Family Funeral Home Chapel in Broken Bow, Oklahoma, with Brother Hayes Linville. Cremation services are entrusted to Bowser Family Funeral Home in Broken Bow, Oklahoma.
