Jose Almendarez Obituary
He is proceeded in death by the love of his life Dominga Almendarez. Survived by his six children. Son's Jose and wife Belinda, Michael and wife Gloria, John, Jesse and wife Sherly. Daughter's Elizabeth and husband Jack, Josie (Rene). He is also a grandfather of 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
He was the center of a very large family who includes surviving brothers and sisters Amalia, Anita, Aurora, Jesse, Frank and proceeded by death Tomas. Also by many nephews and nieces. Dad was a very hard working man to support his family of eight. First with many years as a concrete finisher then to become foreman/supervisor. Then returning to complete his high school education in his later years. With completing college and ending his career as a City Inspector for the City of San Antonio. He was truly loved and will be missed by many.
