Delgado-Piña, Ashley Carrera y Chelsea Carrera. Fue un orgulloso y dedicado abuelo de Julian Herrera, Jaiden Herrera, Jiovani Herrera, Altair Gutierrez, Adeline Olivas, Leonardo Diosdado, Luna Diosdado, Lorenzo Olivas Jr. y Eliza Rose Delgado.
También lo sobreviven sus hermanos, Juan Carrera, Víctor Carrera, María Carrera y Janette Carrera.
José fue precedido en la muerte por sus hermanos, Sergio Carrera y Miguel Carrera.
Será recordado por su amor a la familia. Su presencia será profundamente extrañada por todos los que lo conocieron y amaron.
