Jose Arturo Cisneros

It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Jose Arturo Cisneros on Sunday, April 27, 2025 at the age of 57 years. Arturo was a simple man with a big heart and a goofy personality. He loved watching action movies and comedies, listening to music, cooking out, making people laugh, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family. He was a hardworking man who always tried to do right by his family. In the early 1970s, Arturo immigrated to the USA with his parents for a better life. He began migrant work in 1978 at the age of 12 and worked hard picking oranges for long hours in the heat for just a few dollars. Later, he settled in Michigan. It was here that he worked in the concrete/highway industry for over 20 years, and was also a jack of all trades.
Arturo was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eufracia Hernandez. He is survived by his wife, Laura Cisneros; mother and father, Audelia and Indalecio Cisneros; brothers and sisters Jose Cisneros, Teresa (Pedro) Figueroa, Miguel Cisneros, Ermelinda (Jason) Garza, Maribel Cisneros, Maricela (Pedro) Pascual, Lupe (Robert) Montalvo; children, Amelia (Joey) Cortez, Martin Cisneros, Jesus Cisneros, Maria Cisneros; granddaughter, Rio Cortez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Cristo Rey Church, 201 W. Miller Rd., Lansing, MI 48911. The family will receive friends at 9:30 until the time mass begins. Burial will take place after m Sent from my iPhone
