Jose Raul Compean, Marion, a man whose friendly demeanor touched everyone he met, peacefully passed away on January 14, 2026, at the age of 41. Born on July 26, 1984, Jose grew into a loving spirit whose zest for life and compassion for others left an indelible mark on his community and all who knew him.
Jose lived a fulfilling life as a devoted father, caring son, and supportive brother. He is lovingly remembered by his parents, Guillermo and Sara Compean; his significant other, Joanna Drapala; his four children, Jose Raul Jr., Miguel, Allison, and Olivia Compean; his brothers, Guillermo Compean Jr. and his wife, Clarissa, and Sergio Compean and his wife, Julia; and his sister, Sayra Ibarra and her husband, Izrael. Together, they formed the core of his world-his most cherished companions on his life's journey.
A friend to many, Jose approached every encounter with a warmth and ease that immediately put others at ease. His engaging smile and kind-hearted nature invited conversation and camaraderie, creating bonds that often lasted a lifetime. As a father, his love was unwavering, and his guidance was offered with the gentle hand of someone who truly wanted the best for his children. To his parents and siblings, he was a beacon of steadfast love and generosity, always ready to extend a helping hand or a listening ear.
Although his time with us was far too brief, the richness of Jose's life cannot be overstated. His legacy lives on through his children and in the countless memories held close by family and friends.
In each moment of joy, in every act of kindness, and within every story shared, Jose Raul Compean's spirit will continue to live on. As we remember this extraordinary man, we celebrate the positive influence he had on so many and the countless ways he made the world a brighter, friendlier place. His memory will forever be a treasure in the hearts of those who were privileged to know him.
