Jose Manuel Figueroa Bejar, a vibrant spirit with an infectious joy for life, was born on August 17, 2000, in Logan, Utah. His journey took him to Mexico when he was just 9 years old, but he returned to his roots in Logan in 2017.
Jose's life was characterized by laughter, adventure, and a sense of spontaneity that inspired everyone around him. Those lucky enough to cross paths with him could instantly feel the warmth of his joyous spirit. He had a knack for turning even the most mundane moments into unforgettable memories. Whether he was showcasing his deep love for JDM cars (with his prized possession being a Type R), cruising on his motorcycle, hunting for the coolest Hot Wheels, or indulging in mouthwatering food, Jose lived life to the fullest and with unmatched enthusiasm.
Recently, Jose embraced a new title as a proud cat dad to a furry friend named Mr. Popo, a nod to one of his all-time favorite shows, Dragon Ball Z. This playful addition to his life was just another reflection of his character – full of fun and creativity.
Tragically, Jose's life was cut short when he passed away in a motorcycle accident on June 3, 2025, in Logan, Utah. While we mourn this tremendous loss, we take comfort in celebrating the incredible life he lived and the joy he brought to others. Jose will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, love for life, and the light he brought into every room.
Family and friends are invited to join in honoring his memory with a viewing on June 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Mass at 6:00 PM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, located at 725 South 250 East, Hyde Park, Utah.
Rest in peace, Jose. Your legacy of laughter and adventure will forever live on in our hearts.
