Jose Alberto Garcia, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on June 23, 2025, at the age of 57. Born in Tulia, Texas, on September 24, 1967, Joe lived a life centered around family, kindness, and quiet strength.
A memorial service to honor his life will be on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM At Family Life Church, 3900 SW 58th Avenue in Amarillo. Pastor Robbie Ashlock will officiate. Inurnment will be at Llano Cemetery located at 2900 South Hayes in Amarillo
He was a beloved son to Elida and Joe Garcia of Amarillo, and a devoted brother to his three sisters: Patricia Garcia Melendrez and her husband Fred Melendrez of Hereford, Priscilla Garcia Fuentes and her husband Joe Fuentes of Amarillo , and Sylvia Garcia Hudson also of Amarillo. Jose's unwavering love and dedication to his family were reflected in the close bonds he shared with his children. He is survived by his oldest son, Tanner Garcia, Tanner’s wife Casey, and their two sons, Colton and Caden all of San Antonio. He is also remembered lovingly by his two youngest sons, Julian and Gabriel Garcia both of Borger
Jose was a proud and affectionate grandfather, whose greatest joys came from spending time with Colton and Caden. Whether offering words of wisdom, sharing a laugh, or simply being present, Jose’s warmth left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He will be remembered not only for the deep love he had for his family, but for the steady presence and generous spirit he shared with all.
