Jose was born and raised in Taft, Tx. He joined the US Air Force and served his country for 20 years. He was involved in many state organizations, VFW and non-profits.
Jose's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Zulema Garcia, children, Marie Many, Jose Garcia Jr and wife Ann, Vanessa Garcia, Margot Garcia, Priscilla Chavez and husband Roland, Veronica Tamez and husband Ruben, Joe Tamez and wife Jen, Lolli Hodge and husband Dwayne, including 20 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.
He is reunited with his parents, Domingo and Francisca Garcia, son Carlos Garcia, and brothers Domingo Garcia Jr., Enrique Garcia and Rudy Garcia
Burial and mass service will be announced at a later date.
