Dear Maggie
My deepest sympathy to you and your family.
José and work together during residency, fellowship and as neonatologist.
We were all so young and recently arrived from our different countries.
He was part of the Peruvian connection.
In later year I saw José in meetings specially when he visited Loyola.
He was a great man and a great physician .

Dear Maggie and family,
I'm so sorry for the loss of a husband friend, father.
José was a great mentor in the NICU and foster changes for the good. He will be missed dearly by me and many.
No one can sat anything to talk the pain away but I believe there will be a time that we will be united and here the story that was never told and still continues.
I will, hopefully, be running the Chicago marathon for the Alzheimer Association in honor of José and my family.
A memory that I have in my camera. This is our primary baby Amaire. She story is on Facebook.

My deepest sympathy on the loss of such a great man/Neonatalogist . I had the honour of working with Dr. Gonzalez for many many years in the NICU. He was not only a great Doctor, but a warm, caring and compassionate human being.
May you be comforted in this time of sorrow by knowing what a difference he made in all the lives he touched throughout his career.
