Jose Misael Gonzalez

Jose Misael Gonzalez, a cherished member of his community, passed away on January 12, 2026, in Houston, Texas. He was born on November 11, 1951, in Mexico, where he spent his early years before ultimately making his way to the United States. Here, he built a life filled with dedication and passion, touching the hearts of many throughout his journey.

Jose’s warmth and kindness were evident to all who knew him. He embraced life with enthusiasm and was deeply committed to his family and friends. He was a member of the Bay Spanish Congregation. His spirit will be remembered fondly by those whose lives he enriched through his unwavering support and friendship.

He is survived by wife Rosalba Arellano; children Claudia Gonzalez, Maria Liliana Hernandez, Jose Misael Gonzalez Jr., Julio Cesar Gonzalez; and numerous extended family members and friends. 

In celebration of his life, a visitation will be held on January 16, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a funeral service  at 7:00 PM, at Integrity Funeral Home, located at 8601 Almeda Genoa Rd, Houston, Texas.

This gathering will allow family, friends, and community members to come together to honor and reflect on the profound impact Jose had on their lives.

Jose Misael Gonzalez leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and dedication that will endure in the hearts of everyone who had the privilege to know him. He will be greatly missed, yet his memory will forever inspire those who carry his spirit forward.
