Jose Guardiola Obituary
Papi had the sweetest smile and loved his family. He was an excellent cook and kept an amazing garden. Whenever he could he would head to the canal with his fishing pole.
He is survived by a son, Jose Guardiola, Jr.; stepchildren, Eddie Campos (Tina), Isaac Campos, Danny Campos (Tracey), Ruth Martin and Doris Rodriguez (Hector); and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his long-time companion, Loida Campos; daughter, Evette Guardiola; sister, Edie Guardiola; and two stepchildren, Lillian and Samuel Campos.
Papi's family would like to thank the wonderful staff on 2 East at Rome Health for their amazing care and compassion.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 10th at 3:00 p.m. at Kingdom Harvest Church, 706 N. Madison St., Rome NY 13440. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Jose's memory to the Abraham House of Rome, 417 N. Washington St., Rome NY 13440.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George St., Rome NY 13440.

I can remember so many years ago. When we all had a good time and people were kind to each other. He used to stop on my porch on North George and we all used to laugh about things or we would share our food. He was always respectful and kind to my kids. May he rest in heavenly peace
