Jose Ramon Guzman Garcia

José Ramón Guzmán García, age 71, of Tavares, Florida, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, José made the move to Florida in 2016, where he continued to make a meaningful impact in his community. A dedicated Civil Engineer, José worked with public water utilities and was a valued member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mount Dora, Florida. Known for his green thumb, he had a deep appreciation for nature, particularly for his beloved orchids. José is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Nelly Tirado, of Tavares, FL; his son, José Guzmán Tirado, of Orange City, FL; his daughter, Yllen Y. Guzmán Tirado, of Caguas, PR; and his sister, Ana Guzmán. He cherished the time spent with his grandchildren, Yaelis, Alanys, Ignacio, and Camille. He is predeceased by his sister, Ivonne Guzmán. A funeral mass to honor José's life will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Mount Dora on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at 9:00 AM, followed by interment at Pine Forest Cemetery in Mount Dora. The family invites friends to pay their respects at the Harden/Pauli Funeral Home in Eustis on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Florida. José's spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
