In Loving Memory of Joe Hernandez Jr.
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Joe Hernandez Jr., who was called home to be with the Lord on November 29th, 2024, at the age of 47. Born on January 25th, 1977, in El Centro, California, Joe was the beloved son of Jose Luis and Mary Hernandez. He was the third of four children. Joe is survived by his mother, Mary Hernandez, his daughter, Briana Hernandez, his girlfriend, Annette Clark, and his siblings: sisters, Margie (Mando) Cervantes, Monica (Alex) Soto, and brother Jimmy (Felicia) Hernandez, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jose Luis Hernanadez
Joe grew up in El Centro, where he attended school and developed a passion for martial arts, inspired by his all-time favorite actor, Bruce Lee. From a young age, he had a love for karate, MMA, and art, often found drawing and exploring his creativity.
In the early 1990s, Joe moved to Riverside County, where he settled in Temecula. It was here that he found a new path in life, being baptized as a born-again Christian, and he went on to build a career in the automotive paint industry. Joe worked for Classic Spray Auto Collision, Paradise Chevrolet, Pro Auto Collision, and several other Auto Body shops in the area. Most recently, Tesla. He was known for his strong work ethic, dedication, and ability to manage his own business, always ensuring that every job was completed with excellence.
Beyond his work, Joe's greatest joy came from his family and friends. He was known for his loving nature, his humor, and his ability to lift others up. No matter what challenges he faced, Joe always remained positive and committed to bringing happiness to those around him. His ability to make others feel comfortable, accepted, and valued will be remembered by all who knew him.
Joe also had a deep connection to nature, often spending time in the park or taking peaceful trips to Idyllwild. His love for his dog, Buddy, was evident, and he and his girlfriend Annette cherished the moments they shared with their fur baby, taking him on walks and to the doggy beach.
Though our hearts are heavy with his loss, we find comfort knowing that Joe's spirit lives on in the memories he created with his loved ones. He will forever be remembered for his kindness, humor, and unwavering love for his family. Joe's legacy will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to know him.
We take solace in the knowledge that Joe is now at peace in the arms of our Heavenly Father.

Joe was very kind to me and my dog Max who loved him and enjoyed cuddling with him. He will be missed. Breaks my heart. I was looking forward to spending more time with and getting to know him more since I had just moved in and been rooming in Menifee at the same place. It was very nice knowing him the short time I had since Sept. Would be happy to help with anything if needed. Rest in Peace Joe
