Jose "Joe" Mendoza Lim, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and family man, passed away at the age of 86, surrounded by love. He will be remembered for his kind heart, generous spirit, and gentle humor that brought warmth and comfort to everyone who knew him.

Joe was married for 59 years to his devoted wife, Lolita, with whom he built a life rooted in love, respect, and unwavering partnership. His family was always the center of his world, and he showed his love through quiet sacrifices, thoughtful actions, and deep consideration for those closest to him.

A man of honor and dedication, Joe proudly served in the United States Navy for 20 years. Following his military service, he continued his lifelong commitment to serving others through 17 years in Civil Service. His strong work ethic, integrity, and sense of responsibility defined both his career and his character.

Joe was a loving father to John and Jeanette, a jovial father-in-law to Yvo his son-in-law, and a cherished grandfather to Emily and Khloe, who brought him immense pride and joy.

Known for his humor and positive outlook, Joe had a remarkable ability to ease worries with a warm smile or a well-timed joke. His favorite quote, "Don't worry, be happy," perfectly reflected the way he lived-choosing optimism, kindness, and gratitude even during life's challenges.

Though his passing leaves a profound emptiness, Joe's legacy lives on through the love he gave so freely, the laughter he shared, and the values he instilled in his family.
