Jose Morales Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Charles Coelho Funeral Home - Central Falls on Mar. 29, 2026.
Jose A. Morales, Sr., a true man of God passed away peacefully on March 26, 2026, at the age of 87. He was the husband of Muriel Santiago. Mr. Morales is reunited his late wives Tomasita Acosta and Luz Gina Morales Torres.

Born on April 11, 1938, in Guayama, Puerto Rico, Jose was the son of the late Jose Antonio Morales and Hortensia Madera. Mr. Morales devoted his life to God and his family. He earned his theological degree and certifications from the Assembly of God, achieving High Honors. For several years, Jose was the Pastor of Iglesia Cristiana Sinai in Pawtucket and lent his time, never charging to celebrate the lives of countless residents as the clergyman who presided over their funerals with his signature grace and class.

Jose's pastoral style was a direct representation of the solid man he was for his family. At home, he was a rock, the husband and Dad that you could count on no matter what. He was an extremely proud grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather, as well. Mr. Morales was a talented guitar player, loved music and was one of biggest New York Yankees fans there ever was.

Jose is reunited with his late son Reinaldo Morales. He is survived by his children, Jose Luis, Orlando, Tomasita, Evelyn, Rosa, Wanda, Abigale, Shirley and Jose A., Jr. and Genaro Cruz. Mr. Morales was a proud grandfather of 39, a great grandfather of 55 and a great great grandfather of 4. He was the brother of Hector Morales, Aurea Morales, the late Domingo Morales, Anabel Morales and Olga Torres.

Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held from 5-9pm on Monday March 30th in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St in Central Falls. A funeral will be celebrated on Tuesday March 31st beginning at 9am in Iglesia Cristiana Sinai 71 Park Pl in Pawtucket. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Pawtucket.
