Jose Luis Munoz, a beloved member of his family and community, was born on January 5, 1983, in Mexico. He passed away peacefully in Greenville, South Carolina, on November 22, 2025, at the age of 42.

Jose was known for his loving, kind, and humorous nature. He was a hardworking man who dedicated himself to ensuring the happiness and well-being of his family. His gentle spirit endeared him to those who knew him and he will be remembered as a very special son, brother, husband, and father. Jose's favorite sayings, "no pasa nada", "je je je" and "deboladita," reflected his approach to life—embracing challenges with a light heart and ensuring that those he loved felt cared for.

He is survived by his loving wife, Alejandra Munoz, and their three cherished children, Jose Angel, Jackie, and Melissa Munoz. Jose also leaves behind his father, Margarito Munoz; his mother, Ever Arenas Munoz; his siblings, Guadalupe, Elizabeth, and Marco Antonio Munoz; his brothers-in-law, Daniel Gonzales, Jorge Bernal; and his sister-in-law, Iris Valladares. He will be fondly remembered by his nine nieces and nephews, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who were touched by his kindness and respect.

A visitation to honor Jose will be held on November 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cremation Society of SC - Westville Funerals in Greenville, SC.
