With the profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Vernon Pascual on August 6, 2025 in Savannah, GA. With his loving family by his side, he came to the end of his journey on earth.

Born in Manila, Philippines on June 16, 1961, he was the 2nd of 3 children of Norman and Anita Pascual. Because of his father's work, he and his family moved throughout southeast Asia during his childhood immersing in the sites, cultures, and cuisines of Singapore, Indonesia, and Borneo.

In 1980, the family eventually settled in Savannah, GA. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Savannah State University in June 1983.

After receiving a job offer in 1984, he moved to Hazlehurst, GA where his life would transform. He met his future wife, and they had a daughter, Jana (born 1988). In 1989, prompted by a new job offer with Goulds Pumps (where he worked until his retirement in 2024), Vernon and his young family moved back to Savannah. In 1990, their son Jeremy was born.

Vernon was a man of many hobbies from tennis, motorcycles, ping-pong, to shooting, just name a few. He was a gentle soul and built a community of friends wherever he went. He favorite hobby was being a loving son, husband, father, brother, grandfather (LoLo or PawPaw), and friend. He will be deeply missed, but his memory and joy will live on in us.

He is proceeded in death by his father Norman A. Pascual and his mother Anita B. Pascual. Survivors to cherish his memories are: his wife Liz, his children Jana (Matthew) and Jeremy (Martha), his grandchildren Alistair, Genevieve, and Arlo, his brother Robbie and family, and his sister Carmina.

A celebration of life will be private, In lieu, of flowers, the family requests donations to the J.C. & Nancy Lewis Cancer and Research Pavillion (earmarked for head and neck cancer) or Hospice Savannah.
