Papa, Im reading all of these posts tonight, really missing you. You meant so much to so many. I keep picking up my phone to call you when something good happens, or when Adam gets in the car from school, only to realize that youre not there anymore. We do, however, still have your old phone. Which your grandson now has, and called 911 from it. Little did I know that a phone could still do that from a disconnected line! We got a good laugh. You left me a message on my voice mail that I saved. I listen to it often. We sure do miss you papa. We loved you more than you ever knew.

Debbie e-mailed last night and we were so sad to hear of Jose dying. He was such a loving, gracious man and we know that he will be missed. You have such a strong, supporting family to help you through this and we pray you will be filled with God's love and peace as you all say "good-bye". We are sorry that we can't change our plans for tonight so we could actually see you. You are in our prayers, The Horkey Family oxoxox
