Jose Rincones Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McCaleb Funeral Home on Oct. 20, 2025.
Jose Luis Rincones, son of Jose and Elva Rincones, passed away on October 17, 2025. He is survived by his former wife and friend, Cassandra Rincones; his daughter, Caley Jo Wrinley, and daughter-in-law, Molly Wrinley; and his son, Christian James Rincones.
Joe graduated from Weslaco High School in 1996 and began his law enforcement career as a U.S. Border Patrol agent in 1998, stationed in Hebbronville, Texas. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in Criminology from Texas A&M University–Kingsville in 2001. In 2005, after completing training at Quantico, he became a Special Agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration. Over his 23-year career, he served in McAllen, Texas; Fajardo, Puerto Rico; and Houston, Texas, where he later retired. Joe was a quiet, strong, and proud man. Among his many life achievements, none meant more to him than being a father. His children were his greatest source of pride and joy. He was immensely proud of his children and all they accomplished.
He is also survived by his six siblings: Estella Rendon, Noe Rincones, Yvonne Gonzales, Lucy Caballero, Henrietta Rincones, and Victoria Rincones-Covarrubias.
In accordance with his wishes, no formal funeral service will be held. His family deeply appreciates the continued thoughts, prayers, and support from loved ones during this time
