I used to buy comic books from Jose at Thats E and then became a friend of his through Thom and Emily. Big man you had a heart of gold and we all miss you!! Rest in peace my friend.

I have know Jose for over 37+ years off and on. Days when the Worcester Galleria was open we we went to the pet store and Jose bought what I think was a Ball Python and we walked from the Galleria to his home both carrying one side of a 15 or 20 gallon tank with the snake in it and his mom freaked out! now I don't know much Spanish but I could tell what she was saying as she was screaming and hiding behind a door. Few years later I again met up with him as we worked at Caldor's and then he began working for Paul at That's Entertainment where I again met up with him and then met his brother Derek when they lived nearby me on Chandler St. and Jose had a way of making many friends over the years and was a person of unforgettable stature. You will be missed not by just me but your family and by many, many others.

I worked with Jose at the end of 1996 and through most of 1997. I always enjoyed chatting and cracking up with him. He was always up for a frank discussion on the then current state of the Red Sox and Patriots or a laugh as we reminisced about lines from vintage Bugs Bunny cartoons. My condolences to the friends who knew him best and to his entire family.

Jose you will be missed. You were an amazing husband to Amy, awesome father to E.J. and an amazing God Father to my son Ray. We were friend for more than 30 years and I was so proud of that. We talked often even though we were 1500 miles apart. You will be so missed buddy. We will always keep you alive for the boys through the memories we shared. We love you Jose.
