Jose Rodriguez, a loving husband, devoted father, and proud grandfather, peacefully passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at his home in Navarre, Florida. He was 73 years old. Born on December 31, 1951, in San Sebastián, Puerto Rico, Jose was known for his kind heart, infectious sense of humor, strong work ethic, resilience, and unwavering love for his family.
Jose married his beloved wife, Elizabeth Rodriguez, on July 30, 1978, at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Over the course of their 46+ years together, they created a life filled with love, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Jose is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; their three sons: Jose, Jeffrey, and Joseph Rodriguez; and their four cherished grandchildren: Marcus, Kaiden, Isabella, and Matthew Rodriguez.
A celebration of Jose’s life will take place on Monday, January 13, 2025, at Rose Lawn Funeral Home, with Deacon Ray Aguado officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00-10:00 AM, followed by a brief Catholic Prayer Service and burial at Rose Lawn Cemetery in Gulf Breeze, Florida.
Jose will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, dedication, and devotion to his family will forever live on in their hearts.
