It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jose Alberto Rodriguez, who departed this life at the age of 48.
Jose was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and a proud father of five children. His love extended even further as “welo” to twelve grandchildren—with one more blessing soon to arrive—who brought endless joy and laughter into his life.
Born into a close-knit family, Jose shared an unbreakable bond with his mother, Cristina Cintron, and his many brothers and sisters. His family meant everything to him, and he cherished the moments spent together, whether in celebration, hard times, or the simple everyday gatherings that kept everyone close.
Jose will be remembered for his big heart, sense of humor, and the love he gave freely to all who knew him. To his family and friends, he was a source of strength, kindness, and unforgettable memories that will live on forever.
Though gone too soon, Jose’s legacy will live on in the lives of those he touched, and his presence will be felt in every laugh, hug, and story shared by his family.
Funeral Services
The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Pontiac Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home.
He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
