Dear Kelley and Lauren sending my condolences. I got the opportunity to work with Kelley and Dr.Anders at Otsego Memorial Hospital in Gaylord Mi. When your family moved to Florida we lost a great Physician and co-Worker´s .However listening to Joe in the cafeteria talk about where he had to travel in the winter so he could Golf was hilarious. Remember Northern Michigan is not year round golf . So to be able to do the sport year round is a bonus. I understood the move and what a asset to Florida to gain a great physician and wonderful family. RIP Dr.Joe Anders.

So sorry to hear I can´t even begin to describe him, probably don´t need to because anyone that knew him knows exactly what I mean. A diamond in the rough, full of life, spoke his mind, loved to laugh and oh yes, the golf and travel. Krista and I have been reminiscing all week...."remember the time we went to his place in St. Maarten and he would call us every day while sitting at the nurses station" to check in on our adventures and see how much we loved it Or dare to call him on the golf course LOL . His patients loved him, he sat down and talked with them...gift of gab too! He left his mark and yes, left way too soon! Treasure your memories Kelley and Lauren as I know you will. Deepest condolences from Gaylord, Michigan (he touched many lives here and I´ve heard great stories, much sadness in the community and prayers for you in church yesterday after his death was announced)

I worked with Dr Anders a few years ago, I always admired him for the time and patience he has for his patients, and you would always find him sitting on the end of the bed, rather than a chair
He was a wonderful man and Dr. My deepest condolences go out to his wife and daughter and may he rest in peace. He will be greatly missed.

My brother was admitted to Naples hospital and we were notified to come . We were located in Auburndale Fl and had to drive which was a few hours away. Joe was waiting for us to arrive which was very late. He explained the situation and let us know how ill he really was. I will never forget his kindness and always let him know how much that meant to us when I saw him at family functions. He was a wonderful and compassionate Dr. Rest in peace Dr.

Last week, one of the Notre Dame publications displayed an autumn photo of the walkway that led to the site of Holy Cross Hall, where we lived for four years. Joe was one of the classmates I thought of seeing on that path on our way to classes. My condolences to his family, and may he rest In peace.
