Joseph Baglio Obituary
Dr. Baglio received his bachelor's degree from Queens College, CUNY; masters from the University of Connecticut & doctorate in Counseling and Personnel Services from Kent State University. Joe lived in Atlanta since 1998 and taught public speaking at Georgia State and Oglethorpe Universities. His students always gave him glowing reviews!
Joe is survived by brothers Peter (Maureen), North Bellmore, NY & Anthony (Linda), Brooklyn, NY; Nephews Paul (Karen), Merrick, NY; Joseph (Angela), Holmdel, NJ; Anthony (Mary), Brooklyn, NY; Michael (Kristin), Merrick, NY; Great nieces and nephews Anthony, Mara, Kayla, Celeste, Joseph, Jake, Thomas & Brendan. Joe's partner of over 30 years, John A. Wilke, predeceased Joe in 1999.
Joe was an avid reader, movie & theater fan and impeccable dresser. His kindness, humor and generosity will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Mass in New York and "Celebration of Life" in Atlanta to be scheduled.
