Mr. Belan was my very favorite teacher. As others have mentioned he was a great story teller. Earning the respect of all, he had a gentle way about him. I have always wondered about what happened to him after I had moved away. I am glad that he loved a long, full life and that he is once again reunited with his much loved wife. We should all be lucky enough to have something like that to look forward to.

My Uncle Joe was Large. Living, funny. A great story teller. Loved his family. Was eager to learn, completed many years of school for degrees and masters... found a calling for writing. And jumped into it. He wrote a book about him as a child and describing his family members in Stories of his youth. I saw him last year when he came to say his final Goodbye to my Mum ( his sister). I´m so thankful l saw him then. Cause that was the last GoodBye l had with him.
