I'm glad I stopped to see you, a few days before you passed! Thanks for being my friend! Thanks for the many memories over the past 40 plus years. It was fun pitching on the sandlot team with you. I will miss talking sports with you at work! RIP.

Sorry Chuck Gardner and myself are unable to attend due to my health. Chuck has known Joe and Carmen and their family from living in Newport. I (Cat) had the pleasure of meeting both when they moved next door. I felt like a part of the family. Soon after they moved in, I received a knock on the door, there stood two young ones, Leah (if wrong name I apologize) introduced herself and said this is my brother, well he piped right in saying my name is Jamie....J_A_M_I_E and I'm 4 years old. All the conversations and watching sports with Joe. Have so many memories of both. was upset when they said they were moving, then finding out it was 2 doors away!!!! oh happy days!!! Will miss both terribly, but find comfort that are back in each others arms again. So sorry for the loss of both parents. God bless to you all
