Joseph Bradley Obituary
Joseph C. Bradley, age 90, died peacefully at Primrose Retirement Community in Midland MI, on October 24, 2025. He was born in Midland to Joe R. and Esther K. Bradley on July 12, 1935.
He attended Central Michigan University and Michigan State University. After college, he briefly moved to Pontiac MI, for his first teaching assignment where he met Janet McConnell with whom he shared for 65 years.
When Joe and his young family returned to Midland in 1963, he was Dean Of Student Personnel at Northwood Institute (Northwood University). In 1969, he proudly accepted a position as a guidance counselor at Northeast Intermediate School in Midland, from which he retired. In his retirement, he was an avid golf enthusiast who loved to play golf, travel to golf tournaments and watch golf on tv.
Joseph is survived by his wife Janet, son David Bradley of Midland, siblings Jim and Mary Jean.
A graveside services will take place at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Old Calvary Catholic Cemetery in Midland, MI with Father Dan Fox Officiating.
In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to be made to the charity of donor's choice.

God bless the Bradley family at this time. I have many fond memories of Mr. Bradley while at Northeast, he was my Guidance Counselor. Took me under his wing, many life lessons learned...

Mr. Bradley was my guidance counselor and driver ED teacher in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He had a lot of patience and wisdom to provide to us youngsters.

A true gentleman, in every positive sense of the word. His memory and influence live on in all those blessed to have had contact with him.
