Joseph Junior Brown,78 of Summerville SC, passed away at 9:38am on December 31,2025, surrounded by his family. Born in 1947, Joe lived his life by kindness, integrity and devoted to those he loved. A faithful husband of 50 years, a proud father to Candace and doting grandfather of three, Cass, Gabriella and Kyra. He spent over 40 years as a leader at Piggly Wiggly Carolina. Joe enjoyed and took pride in his living environment, seeing it as a sanctuary and a reflection of himself. Educated in the public schools on Edisto Island and spent the majority of his adult life in Charleston. Surviving is his wife, Romonia Brown, daughter, Candace Brown, grandchildren; Cass Keres, Gabriella Roberts and Kyra Brown and a host of nieces and nephews. Leaving a legacy as someone who is firm dependable and unwavering believer in the value of the do- it yourself lifestyle.
