Joseph J. Bugden

Mr. Joseph J. Bugden, age 55, of Lynn, died Wednesday February 9, 2011, suddenly at his home where he had been stricken ill. A lifelong resident of Lynn, he was the son of the late Cecil Bugden and the late Elsie (Doucette) Bugden Watson. He attended Lynn Schools and was a graduate of Lynn Vocational Technical Institute, Class of 1975. Joe had worked for over 30 years in the dietary department of Union Hospital, he retired in 2005. He had also spent a short time serving in the US Army. He was a former member of the Knights of Columbus third and fourth degree, Valladolid Council #70, Lynn, and of the Father Gabrielle Druillette Assembly. He enjoyed computers, computer games and Facebook, bowling, walking, and playing BINGO. Joe always had a smile on his face. Joe is survived by his sisters and brothers Norma Jean Gaudet and her husband David, of Tamworth, NH, Donald Bugden, of Tewksbury, Patricia Bugden Laramie, of Wolfeboro, NH, Janie Bugden Boutin, of Wolfeboro, NH, and Charles Bugden, of Lynn, a niece Patricia Boutin, of Wolfeboro, NH, family friend Judy Wakefield, of Lynn, and many cousins and aunts. He was also the brother of the late Mary Bugden. His Funeral will be held on Monday at 11am in the SOLIMINE LANDERGAN AND RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME 426 BROADWAY (RTE129), LYNN. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Lynn. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8pm.
