Joseph Caniglia Obituary

Joe was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Survived by his wife Laura, his daughters Lauren and Marissa, their husbands Ronnie and Andre, his 4 grandchildren Olivia, Sydney, Frankie & Lydia and his sister Grace.

His love of food, wine and music were surpassed only by the love that he had for his family and friends. Nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by those he cared for. Never the loudest or flashiest person in the room, people were drawn to him because of the quiet confidence present in his eyes and immediately drawn in by his warmth.

His smile and gentle way about him drew people to him, he had the unique ability to make people feel instantly comfortable and welcome. You immediately felt as if you were a part of his family, a characteristic that endeared him to those who met him. Whether it was a family gathering, a quiet conversation, or a shared laugh among friends, Joe made every moment feel special.

This kind of loss changes you, but we are able to eventually move on because we find ways to honor him, to pay tribute to Joe. It almost makes you a better "you," and what more would Joe have wanted for us than that?

In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to one of the charities dear to Joe.
